The present invention provides a lithium cobalt oxide positive electrode material, that is, a doped lithium cobalt oxide material: A general formula of doped lithium cobalt oxide is LiCoMaMbO, where 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.01, 0 ≤ y ≤ 0.01, and -0.05 ≤ z ≤ 0.08; Ma is a doped monovalent element, and is at least one of Al, Ga, Hf, Mg, Sn, Zn, or Zr; and Mb is a doped polyvalent element, and is at least one of Ni, Mn, V, Mo, Nb, Cu, Fe, In, W, or Cr. Through substitutional doping of a monovalent element, mutation of a layered structure caused by lithium deintercalation is minimized. Through interstitial doping of a polyvalent element, oxidation of Cois alleviated and delayed during charging.
