This method of determining at least one fuel consumption domain (14) for an aircraft is implemented in an electronic device. It includes the acquisition of a flight domain as a function of altitude (ALT) and of a propulsion quantity (PROP). It includes, for at least one flight phase, the calculation of a fuel consumption limit curve (26) as a function of the altitude and of the propulsion magnitude, corresponding to an average consumption forecast for said phase of flight; and the determination - from the flight envelope and the limit curve - of the consumption range as a function of the altitude and of the propulsion magnitude and comprising a first sub-domain (28) of consumption lower than the consumption forecast for said flight phase and a second subdomain (29) of consumption greater than said expected consumption, the first and second subdomains being separated by the limit curve.
