The present invention relates to a process for the biogenic synthesis of silver nanoparticles by probiotic strains belonging to the genera Lactobacillus sp. and Bifidobacterium sp. grown in unicellular algae, the silver nanoparticles obtained from the fermentation process combined with probiotics, and their use in the medical field as anti-inflammatory and/or antiseptic agents.
