The method comprises:wirelessly broadcasting (104) an emergency signal containing emergency-related information, triggered by the reception (102) of an alert by the autonomous vehicle,establishing (106) a wireless network among autonomous vehicles receiving the emergency signal;exchanging (108) on-board sensor data and intent of each autonomous vehicle on the network;collaboratively computing (110) intent instructions for each of the autonomous vehicle on the network to avoid or mitigate the anomalous traffic condition;distributing (112) the intent instructions among the autonomous vehicles on the network;executing (114), by each autonomous vehicle on the network, the corresponding intent instructions.;The method provides secure and efficient organization of autonomous vehicles traffic, particularly in emergency situations, which is locally managed without requiring communication with a remote server.
