To maximize a suppression effect of chatter in an easy control structure.SOLUTION: In a vibration suppression device of a machining center 1, a parameter calculation unit 6 changes a variation cycle of a rotational speed of a main shaft 2 into the combination of two different time set values of a time set value corresponding to an acceleration section of the rotational speed and a time set value corresponding to a speed reduction section of the rotational speed, and sets the smallest one of the time set values as the short period set value to the speed reduction section, and thereby calculates the time set value other than the short period set value based on an average rotational speed of the variation control, the number of teeth of the tool and the short period set value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
