To provide methods for treating neuroendocrine tumors overexpressing somatostatin receptors.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method for treating a cancer overexpressing a somatostatin receptor. More particularly, the invention provides a combination therapy in which a combination of peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) and immune-oncology therapy (I-O therapy) is administered for treating the neuroendocrine tumor. In particular embodiments, the PRRT comprises administration of [177]lutetium-DOTA[O]-Tyr[3]-octreotate, and the I-O therapy comprises administration of an inhibitor that inhibits the PD-1/PD-L1 and CTLA-4 pathway.SELECTED DRAWING: None
