To provide a meal evaluation device capable of providing information associated with a meal or health of a user in consideration for information concerning some of the meal of a user, based on an acquired biological signal.SOLUTION: A meal evaluation device of the present invention is the device for evaluating the meal of a user. The meal evaluation device has: biological signal information determination means for determining an amount determined by a biological signal concerning a user's head, the amount that is related to the chewing of the user and/or the amount related to the smile; meal amount determination means for determining a "value related to some of the meal" using an amount of meal estimation model, based on an amount related to the chewing and/or the amount related to the smile; and feedback means for providing information by generating or selecting the information related to the meal or health of the user, based on the determined "value related to some of the meal". Here, it is preferable that the information related to the meal or health of the user may be generated or selected also based on a "value related to the taste of the meal" determined by using a taste estimation model from the amount related to the chewing and/or the amount related to the smile.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
