To provide a skewer that is easy to grip, easy to eat with, and also easy to dispose of.SOLUTION: A skewer body 1 made of bamboo or wood is provided with nicks 2a, 2b. Also, by providing a handle part on one end of the skewer body 1, a skewer with a handle is structured. With this structure, when a piece of meat is spit on a skewer, it is easy to spit and also disposal of a skewer is facilitated as the skewer can be broken into small pieces.
