To provide: a concentrated liquid detergent composition for an automatic dishwasher, which exhibits excellent washability even at a low concentration, is excellent in scale inhibition property, tea stain detergency, and biofilm preventability in the dishwasher, and, moreover, has excellent corrosion inhibition property for copper alloy and aluminum; and a washing method of tableware by an automatic dishwasher by using the concentrated liquid detergent composition for an automatic dishwasher.SOLUTION: Provided is a concentrated liquid detergent composition for an automatic dishwasher, comprising 6 mass% to 30 mass% of an alkali agent as a component (A), 10 mass% to 40 mass% of a chelating agent as a component (B), 0.01 mass% to 4.8 mass% of a metal corrosion inhibitor as a component (C), and water as a component (D), where a mass ratio of the component (A) and the component (B), (A)/(B), is 0.15 to 1.50, and a mass ratio of the component (A) and the component (C), (A)/(C), is 2 to 3000.SELECTED DRAWING: None
