To present a suitable performance corresponding to an article to be placed.SOLUTION: A performance presenting device is the performance presenting device having a placement part configured so as to be capable of placing an article, and includes first acquisition means for detecting placement of an article on the placement part and acquiring article information that the article has, presentation means for presenting a performance corresponding to an article placed on the placement part, and control means for controlling a performance presented by the presentation means on the basis of article information pertaining to an article acquired and placed by the first acquisition means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
