PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an opening operation and prevent an unexpected opening by improving the finger hooking property at the time of initial opening, reducing pressure on a finger, reducing a feeling of oppression, and providing fingertip guidance to a finger hook portion. A tab for opening a can lid and a can lid are provided. SOLUTION: A tab body is fixed to a can lid body via a fixing portion, a tab tip portion of the tab body is arranged in the vicinity of a score, and an end portion opposite to the tab tip portion with respect to the fixing portion is initially opened. In the tab for opening the can lid provided with the first finger hook portion 20 on which the finger is hung, the shape of the first finger hook portion 20 is a plane viewed in the direction orthogonal to the can lid body 2 from the tab body 11 side. Visually, it has a curved shape that curves concavely toward the fixed portion 7, and is parallel to the panel surfaces 31 and 32 of the can lid main body 2 and is parallel to the central portion 20a and the fixed portion of the first finger hook portion 20. When viewed from the side view from the direction in which the 7s overlap, the distance from the panel surface 32 is convexly curved so that the central portion 20a is larger than the both end portions 20b and 20b.
