To provide a sensitivity analysis method and an apparatus for vehicle body components and a material property determination method for vehicle body components that calculate sensitivities for the respective vehicle body components with respect to a vehicle performance.SOLUTION: A sensitivity analysis method for vehicle body components according to the present invention analyzes, at a computer, sensitivities of the vehicle body components with respect to a vehicle body performance of a vehicle body including the plurality of vehicle body components. The method includes: a vehicle body model acquisition step S1 that acquires a vehicle body model 31 configured by the vehicle body components modeled by a plurality of elements; a step S3 that sets objective conditions regarding the vehicle body performance, constraint conditions regarding to volumes and load conditions given to the vehicle body model 31, calculates a material density of each of the elements satisfying the objective conditions under the constraint conditions, so that the calculated material density of each of the elements can be used as a sensitivity of each of the elements with respect to the vehicle body performance; and a vehicle body component sensitivity calculation step S5 that calculates a sensitivity for each of the vehicle body components based on the sensitivity of each of the elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
