To provide a low-cost retractable audience seating in a simple structure.SOLUTION: A retractable audience seating 1 is provided with a plurality of seats 10, a floor base 20 with a plurality of steps on which the seats 10 are secured, and a back actuating mechanism 30. The seat 10 comprises a back 11 and a base 12. The back actuating mechanism 30 is provided with: a pair of back actuating parts 31 secured on an inner surface of the back 11; a main axis 32 supporting rotation of the back actuating parts 31 and functioning as a rotational supporting point; a pair of back rotating members 33 rotating the back actuating parts 31; a main rotating member 34 rotating the back rotating members 33; a shaft 35 rotating the main rotating member 34; an actuator 40 actuating the shaft 35; and a supporting member 50 supporting the back rotating members 33 from a lower side. The back actuating mechanism 30 allows the back 11 to move between a use position and a retractable position and the floor base 20 is secured by support of a second end part 33b of the back rotating member 33 of the back actuating mechanism 30 and the supporting member 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
