PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod, a liquid paint suction assembly, and a method for manufacturing such a rod. The present invention relates to a liquid suction rod (1) including an upstream pipe, a flexible intermediate pipe (14), and a rigid downstream pipe (16). The downstream pipe includes a downstream elbow portion (42). The downstream pipe (16) defines a series of passage portions (S16) that define the center (C16) constituting the track (T16), and the downstream elbow portion (42) is a curved portion (49) of the track (T16). The passage portion (S16) extending along and along the curved portion is substantially disk-shaped and preferably has a constant diameter (Ds16). According to the present invention, the curved portion (49) is circular in order to avoid imposing an excessively large curvature on the intermediate tube while reducing the head loss of the paint passing through the suction rod while being easy to manufacture.
