The present invention presents radiomics-based biomarkers for detecting the presence and density of tumor-infiltrating CD8 T cells in said tumor without the need to use any biopsy of solid tumors. The invention also presents the use of this information to assess the immune phenotype of said solid tumors. In certain embodiments, the present invention presents predicting the survival and / or treatment efficiency of cancer patients treated with immunotherapy such as anti-PD-1 / PD-L1 monotherapy.
