摘要

To provide a method for producing cuprous oxide powder capable of producing cuprous oxide powder having a smaller average grain diameter with a less content of an element whose oxidation reduction potential is baser than that of copper, and also to provide cuprous oxide powder, a method for producing copper powder obtainable using the cuprous oxide powder, and copper powder.SOLUTION: A method for producing a cuprous oxide powder is configured to add an alkali and a reducer to a solution at least including divalent copper ions or copper complex ions to produce cuprous oxide powder, in which the alkali and the reducer are added so as not to form a divalent copper compound in a production process of the cuprous oxide powder. The obtained cuprous oxide powder has an average grain diameter of 0.01-0.50 μm, in which a content of an element whose oxidation reduction potential is baser than that of copper is less than 0.01 mass%. The obtained copper powder has an average grain diameter of 0.1-5.0 μm, in which a content of an element whose oxidation reduction potential is baser than that of copper is less than 0.01 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
