摘要

The characteristics of TiN ultrafine powder produced by changing the operational conditions in an arc-plasma method from systems, of Ti under an N_2 gas environment mixed with a gas such as Ar, He and h_2 were investigated. The specific surface area of the TiN powder is increased with the increase in the mixing ratio of He to N_2 gas. This is also increased while decreasing the gaseous pressure in the chamber as well as the electric current in the generator.
