PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily measuring a state of proteoglycan in a composition containing proteoglycan. A method for measuring proteoglycan contained in a proteoglycan-containing composition, in which a protein is separated from the proteoglycan-containing composition and immunology of the G1 domain of proteoglycan, the glycosaminoglycan binding domain, and the EGF-like module of proteoglycan. A method for measuring proteoglycan, which comprises measuring proteoglycan.
