To provide a waste material sorting system that is suitable for generating a large quantity of teaching data, as well as provide a teaching data generation device, a teaching data generation system and a teaching data generation program.SOLUTION: A control device 40 of a waste material sorting system 1 displays an image photographing a state where multiple waste materials W are conveyed in one direction in a display unit 51. One waste material W (first waste material W1) not connected with raw material information showing the raw material is selected from among the multiple waste materials W contained in the image displayed in the display unit 51. A first selection mark M1 is displayed in the display unit 51 by being associated with the first waste material W1. The raw material information showing the raw material of the waste material W is acquired, based on the raw material specifying operation being input into an operation input part 54. Then, the teaching data obtained by connecting the image of the first waste material W1 with the acquired raw material information is stored in a storage device 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
