A transporting method comprises: a transported target mounting step of assembling a sectional base 10 on a long laying member 30 arranged in a depth direction of a transporting container 1 on a floor surface 2 inside the transporting container 1 and placing a transported target 20 thereon; a thrusting step of thrusting the transported target 20 into a back side of the transporting container 1 by causing the sectional base 10 on which the transported target 20 is placed to slide and move on the laying member 30; and a drawing step of drawing the transported target 20 from the back side of the transporting container 1. In this manner, when a transported target as a heavy load is transported using a transporting container, it is possible to easily thrust and draw a sectional base, on which the transported target has been placed, into and from a back side with a small force.
