PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-car elevator device in that a passenger can effectively recognize a target landing door without confusion even when an operation mode is switched.;SOLUTION: The multi-car elevator device includes a plurality of pairs of cars provided to be circularly moved, landing call operation parts 53a, 53b provided at each floor, and a display part that is provided at each floor and displays to give a notification of a landing door at which a car is allocated among landing doors 11, 12. The movement of the plurality of pairs of cars are controlled by either a normal operation mode in that all cars are circularly moved in one direction or a degenerative operation mode in that only a pair of cars are reciprocated in a vertical direction in a hoistway and other cars are stopped at an upper part and a lower part in the hoistway. When only a pair of cars are reciprocated in the degenerative operation mode, the display part notifies of a landing door at which a car is allocated in a display mode which is different from the case where the cars are circularly moved in the normal operation mode.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
