PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a calorimeter and a calorimeter measuring method capable of improving the accuracy of the calorie to be obtained as compared with the case of obtaining the calorific value of a gas having a constant mass flow rate. A calorimeter (10) includes a combustion unit (20) for catalytically burning gas, a supply unit (50) for supplying gas to a combustion unit (20), a lead-out unit for deriving the calorific value of gas, and a control unit for controlling each unit. It is provided with an information processing unit 78. The supply unit 50 supplies a predetermined volume of gas to the combustion unit 20. The lead-out unit derives the calorific value of the gas according to the temperature of the combustion section that has risen due to catalytic combustion of the gas supplied by the supply section 50 in the combustion section 20.
