To provide a technique for improving convenience of bus passengers.SOLUTION: A bus boarding assistance system comprises: a cloud server; a boarding terminal, a control terminal and a drop-off terminal which are installed inside a bus; and a mobile terminal owned by a bus passenger. The boarding terminal displays a first two-dimensional code indicating boarding information. The mobile terminal reads the first two-dimensional code to acquire the boarding information, receives selection of a destination from the passenger on the basis of the boarding information, and transmits it to the cloud server. The cloud server transmits a second two-dimensional code indicating relevant information related to the destination, notification information indicating that the destination is near, and drop-off information to the mobile terminal, and the mobile terminal displays each piece of the information. The control terminal controls a drop-off button in the bus to a depressed state when receiving second notification information indicating that the passenger is getting off the bus at the next stop from the cloud server. The drop-off terminal acquires the drop-off information by reading the second two-dimensional code.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
