PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent organic molecule capable of spontaneously returning to an original luminous color not only by heating or exposure to a solvent vapor but also around a room temperature after the luminous color is changed by a mechanic stimulation, the fluorescent organic molecule allowing easy synthesis with shorter steps and exhibiting a high fluorescence quantum yield at a solid state.SOLUTION: An indolyl benzothiadiazole derivative is expressed by a formula (1). (R-Rand R-Rare respectively represented with H and an alkyl group; and Ris an alkyl or aryloxycarbonyl group, an acyl group or an alkyl or arylsulfonyl group.)SELECTED DRAWING: None
