PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve highly precise recognition of regional shapes of individual cells in an image of a cell aggregate.;SOLUTION: An image processing system 10 includes: a first seeded position setting section 3 which sets a plurality of first seeded positions showing that a pixel value has a three-dimensional peak in a stack image of a cell; a first numbering section 4 which assigns each of the seeded positions with an identification number; a standard size setting section 2 which sets a standard size of a cell in a predetermined direction of a stack image; a second seeded position setting section 5 which sets a second seeded position within the range of a standard size with each of the first seeded positions centered, referring to each of the first seeded positions and in which a second seeded position is a position obtained by shifting the position in a predetermined direction relative to the first seeded position; a second numbering section 6 which assigns each of the second seeded positions with the same identification number as that of the first seeded position of a reference source; and a cell region formation section 8 which forms a two-dimensional cell region at all the first seeded positions and then forms a two-dimensional cell region at the second seeded position.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT
