To provide a guidance method and a collecting guidance apparatus of drifting articles capable of providing a positional information to a recovery ship by simply displaying the positions of drifting articles without using expensive equipment.SOLUTION: In a collecting guidance method of drifting articles, a collecting guidance apparatus comprises a GPS transmitter which has buoyancy and transmits a surface information, a light-emitting device which has buoyancy and transmits a point information, and a connection member to attach the GPS transmitter and the light-emitting device to the drifting article. The arrival of the recovery ship to collect the drifting article is guided with the collecting guidance apparatus attached by the connection member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
