To provide a recording/reproducing device and a co-listening system that allow a plurality of persons to easily co-listen by means of a portable device such as a smart phone and the like.SOLUTION: A recording/reproducing device 10 comprises a Wi-Fi module, and performs a Wi-Fi connection to a plurality of smart phones 12a, 12b, 12c and the like. The recording/reproducing device 10 reproduces an audio signal to transmit the reproduced audio signal by radio in accordance with a command from the smart phone 12a functioning as a master device. The recording/reproducing device 10 transmits the audio signal under reproduction even to the smart phones 12b and 12c by radio in accordance with commands from the smart phones 12b and 12c functioning as a slave device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
