PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable recording reproduction device with a radio LAN function, and recording reproduction system that allow a remote control operation to set a recording parameter or reproduction parameter.SOLUTION: A recording reproduction device 10 comprises a Wi-Fi module, and performs a Wi-Fi connection to a smart phone 12 and the like. The recording reproduction device 10 receives a setting value of a recording parameter or reproduction parameter from the smart phone 12 when the Wi-Fi connection is established to the smart phone 12, and records an audio signal by use of the setting value and reproduces the audio signal. The smart phone 12 acquires the setting value of the recording parameter or the reproduction parameter to transmit the setting value thereof to the recording reproduction device 10 through the Internet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
