PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting system and a data feedback method in the component mounting system, the system and method being capable of enhancing mounting accuracy of components by feeding back only data having high reliability to a component mounting apparatus.SOLUTION: In a component mounting method, on the basis of a relative position relationship between a body Bd and a lead Ld of a component 3 calculated by imaging the component 3 before being mounted on a substrate 2, and a position of the body Bd of the component 3 calculated by imaging the component 3 after being mounted on the substrate 2 (mounted body position BdS), an estimated position of the lead Ld of the component 3 after being mounted on the substrate 2 (estimated lead position LdSG) is calculated. Thereafter, a position of the lead Ld of the component 3 calculated by imaging the component 3 after being mounted on the substrate 2 (mounted lead position LdS) is compared with the estimated lead position LdSG to obtain an error therebetween.
