PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator renewal operation method that enables shortening of a construction period by efficiently removing a plunger of an existing hydraulic elevator.SOLUTION: A plunger, a cylinder, and a plunger rail are removed by using a lifting device installed by using an existing car and a liftable foothold using a new car floor to be installed. Thus, a construction period can be shortened by making liftable the new car floor to be installed early and efficiently removing the plunger or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
