PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and improved graft copolymer having strong adhesiveness and high electrochemical stability, a binder composition for secondary battery, a separator for secondary battery using the graft copolymer and a secondary battery and a manufacturing method of the graft copolymer.SOLUTION: There is provided a graft copolymer containing a repeating unit represented by the formula (I) and a repeating unit represented by the formula (II) in a main chain.
