PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring the charging level of a coke oven capable of being installed regardless of the separation distance between the sleeve of a coal charging chute and the coke oven, necessitating no moving means for a reflection plate, and protecting the influence of powder dust and heat from the coke oven.SOLUTION: In a larry car, transmission/reception means for micro waves or millimeter waves and an opening on the ceiling plane of a coal charging chute is connected with a guide pipe, and purge gas is supplied in the guide pipe at least at the time of a measurement.
