PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect that detected radiation is in a high-count-rate state affecting radioactivity detection.SOLUTION: A radioactivity detection system 1 generates an integration signal by cumulatively integrating, through radiation detection, a signal that takes a peak value due to radiation detection and then attenuates gradually. The radioactivity detection system 1 includes: a signal detection unit 65 for detecting that the state in which the signal level of the integration signal is higher than a previously determined threshold level continues for a prescribed time; and a detection result output unit 68 for outputting a detection result by the signal detection unit 65.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
