PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for a cutting tool which can enhance cooling efficiency of a coolant and a cutting tool, and a method for manufacturing a cut work-piece by use thereof.SOLUTION: A holder 1A for a cutting tool comprises a substantially columnar holder body 2, and at least one coolant hole 3 which penetrates the interior of the holder body 2 from a rear end 22 side toward a tip 21 side of the holder body 2 in a longer direction X2, and has an injection port 31 which is opened on the tip 21 side. The coolant hole 3 further has one or plural salients which are positioned on an inner peripheral surface thereof and are spirally extended along a longer direction Y2 of the coolant hole 3. A cutting tool 10A equipped with this holder 1A for a cutting tool and a method for manufacturing a cut work-piece by use of the cutting tool 10A are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
