To provide a package which is comprised of a packaging container storing fruit and vegetables including lettuce, and which inhibits browning of the fruit and vegetables including lettuce, and has an excellent freshness retaining function for the fruit and vegetables.SOLUTION: A package is comprised of a packaging container provided with polymeric film and storing fruit and vegetables including lettuce, and an internal oxygen concentration therein is 7.0 volume% or lower after preservation for 72 hours at 10°C after sealing the package.SELECTED DRAWING: None
