To provide a manufacturing method of a metallic reduction reaction vessel including a diffusion layer capable of supplying efficiently a high melting point metal having a reduced impurity concentration, in a manufacturing process of the high melting point metal.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a metallic reduction reaction vessel includes a film formation step S11 for forming a film containing high melting point metal powder, on an inner wall of the metallic reduction reaction vessel, and a layer formation step S21 for forming a coating layer and a diffusion layer respectively by heat-treating the film containing high melting point metal powder. In the film formation step S11, suspension containing high melting point metal powder having an average particle size of 45 μm or less, and aqueous solution containing alcohol having a carbon number of 1-4 is attached onto the inner wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
