To provide a discrimination label assignment support apparatus and a discrimination label assignment support method capable of reducing workload for assigning a discrimination label to a training image.SOLUTION: A discrimination label assignment support apparatus 1 includes a random classification unit 11 that classifies all of a plurality of images acquired by an image acquisition unit 10 by a random index in plural times, a normality calculation unit 12 that calculates normality of each of the images from the plurality of classification result, based on similarity of images, a folder generation unit 13 that generates a plurality of folders configured hierarchically in a storage unit 15, and stores the plurality of images therein, and an automatic determination unit 14 that determines whether or not all of the images included in a folder for determination target are normal or abnormal based on the normality of the image included in each of the folders, and assigns a classification label according to the determination result to all of the images included in the folder for determination target at once.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
