PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel-tungsten alloy plating solution and a nickel-tungsten alloy plating method in which a high hardness nickel-tungsten alloy plating film can be formed with a higher current efficiency.SOLUTION: The nickel-tungsten alloy plating solution is a nickel-tungsten alloy plating solution used for forming a nickel-tungsten alloy plating film by electroplating method on the surface of an object to be plated, and containing nickel chloride, tungstate as a source of tungsten, and a complexing agent; and in the method, the pH is set in a range of 0.1 to 4.0.SELECTED DRAWING: None
