PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively transferring hop-derived bitter components to a beverage while using a hardness adjusting agent.SOLUTION: A method for producing a beverage according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: using a predetermined amount of a hardness adjusting agent; boiling a raw material liquid containing hop components; and producing a beverage using the boiled raw material liquid. The method further includes adding at least a part of the predetermined amount of the hardness adjusting agent after the start of the boiling of the raw material liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
