To provide an auxiliary tool for float type water level gauges with which it is possible to lighten burden on an operator and properly pull up a wire.SOLUTION: Provided is an auxiliary tool 1 for float type water level gauges for pulling up a weight 101 or a float 102 of a float type water level gauge 100 having the weight 101 disposed at one end and the float 102 disposed at the other end of a wire 105 put on a pulley 104, comprising: a temporary fixing member 2 temporarily fixed to an outside member in the periphery of the float type water level gauge 100; and an auxiliary pulley 3 disposed in the temporary fixing member 2. The temporary fixing member 2 is temporarily fixed to the outside member and the wire 105 is put on the auxiliary pulley 3 and drawn out in the lateral direction, and the weight 101 or the float 102 is thereby pulled up.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
