The disclosed ceria nanocomposite for biomedical treatment includes a ceria nanoparticle and a surface modification layer arranged on the surface of the ceria nanoparticle, wherein the surface modification layer includes a polyethylene glycol residue, and in the ceria nanoparticle, the content of Ce³⁺ is greater than the content of Ce⁴⁺.
