the present invention presents a technological aggregate to the conventional eugenol for reducing postoperative pain, aiming at decreasing the failure and severity of postoperative infections after performing a pulpotomy. said microparticulate eugenol consists of white colored powders and a characteristic odor, encapsulated with maltodextrin (figure 1) in a 9: 1 ratio, obtained by spray-drying method, in order to establish a material for use in pulpotomy for the purpose of reducing postoperative pain (figure 3) and anti-inflammatory characteristics.
