The present invention relates to a combination for the treatment or prevention of epilepsy and related disorders, neuropathic pain, migraine or resistant headache and bipolar and related disorders, comprising (a) a synaptic vesicle protein 2A ("SV2A") ligand selected for the group consisting of levetiracetam, brivaracetam and seletracetam; and (b) a positive allosteric modulator of metabotropic glutamatergic receptor subtype 2 selected from 1) a compound of formula (I) selected from; ;and; ;or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a solvate thereof; and 2) a compound of formula (I-A); ;or a stereoisomeric form thereof; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a solvate thereof. The invention provides an effective treatment with a lower effective dose and a more favourable side effect profile.
