SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL SYSTEM FOR ROADS AND SIDEWALKS

The invention relates to snow and ice removal systems for roads and sidewalks using a mechanical method. The system comprises two horizontal drive shafts parallel to each other with different adjusted rotation speeds, with direction which does not prevent the system movement, and blades fixed on the shaft. Eye lugs are fixed on the blades in a certain order, live levers are inserted in the eye lugs at a pre-defined displacement angle using stud bolts. Wear-resistant cylindrical strikers are fixed on the free sides of the levers. When the shaft rotates, the strikers are shifted to the remote radius from the shaft axis under the centrifugal force and strike on snow and ice cover and road pavement. This technical solution ensures efficient snow and ice removal by means of precisely coordinated strikes made by strikers.
