The present utility model concerns a process for producing a thermally processed, ready-to-eat food composition. Particularly, the utility model pertains to a process for producing a ready-to-eat food composition comprising the steps of: saut‚ing garlic, onion and ginger in vegetable oil to form a spice mixture; cooking the spice mixture with tuna flakes, shrimp paste, taro leaves, coconut milk, and at least one seasoning to form a tuna laing composition; packing the tuna laing composition; sterilizing the tuna laing composition; and cooling down the tuna laing composition.
