The present disclosure belongs to the field of traditional Chinese medicineherb,and specifically relates to a traditional Chinese medicine herb compositioncapable ofprotecting liver and benefiting gallbladder and preparation and applicationthereof. Themedicinal component raw materials comprise: rhizoma polygoni cuspidati,pericarpium citrireticulatae viride, fructus crataegi and radix et rhizoma rhei. Thetraditional Chinesemedicine herb composition and a traditional Chinese medicine herb extractprovided in thepresent disclosure can significantly reduce serum ALT, AST, ALP, T-Bil, D-Biland TBA,significantly reduce hepatocyte necrosis, improve hepatocyte enlargement,cytoplasmiclooseness, ballooning degeneration and feathery degeneration conditions, andalleviateinflammatory cell infiltration, thus preventing or treating cholestasis.
