A method for teaching a robot by using a robot simulator, according to one aspect of the present invention, comprises the steps of: obtaining specification information related to at least one constitutional element included in the robot; when at least one learning task is given, teaching, by constitutional element units, the operation of the at least one constitutional element required to successfully complete the at least one learning task, within the possible scope of operation according to the specification information; and when a performance task is given, determining, by constitutional element units, the operation that the at least one constitutional element should perform in order to successfully complete the performance task, on the basis of the result of said teaching.
