Provided are a medium residue detection structure, a temporary storage device (3), and a medium processor. The medium residue detection structure comprises a rotating shaft (333) and a roller set (33) sheathed on the rotating shaft (333); the roller set (33) comprises a first roller (331), and a second roller (332) and a third roller (337) coaxially provided on two sides of the first roller (331); a first end face (3316) of the first roller (331) is provided with a plurality of first roller columns (3313) extending in the axial direction of the first roller (331); a second end face (3317) of the first roller (331) is provided with a plurality of second roller columns (3314) extending in the axial direction of the first roller (331); the first roller column (3313) is symmetrical with the second roller column (3314); and a detection space is formed between the adjacent first roller column (3313) and the adjacent second roller column (3314) for the passage of a first detection signal of a first detection sensor (8). When there is no medium residue on the first roller (331), the first detection signal (83) can pass through the detection space, and when there is medium residue on the first roller (331), the medium obstructs the passage of the first detection signal (83), and whether the medium residue exists is thus detected.
