The invention relates to a sound channel (10) for an acoustic sensor (1) for a vehicle (20) for detecting sound waves (2) of an acoustic signal outside the vehicle (20), comprising an input region (11) for admitting the sound waves (2) into the sound channel (10), and a conveying region (12) for conveying the sound waves (2) to a sound transducer (1a) of the acoustic sensor (1), wherein a first layer (13) is arranged between the input region (11) and the conveying region (12), which first layer is configured to further convey the sound waves (2) from the input region (11) into the conveying region (12) and at least to dampen interference that compromises detection of the acoustic signal, and the conveying region (12) comprises a second layer (14) which is water-tight and/or wind-tight and is configured to convey the sound waves (2) to the sound transducer (1a) such that the sound waves (2) are detected substantially free from interference with minor damping of the sound waves (2).
