EFFICIENT THAWING CABINET FOR FROZEN FOOD AND METHOD FOR THAWING USING THAWING CABINET

An efficient thawing cabinet for frozen food, the thawing cabinet comprising a cabinet body, wherein the cabinet body comprises a thermal insulation box body (1) and a closed container (4); a box-type frame is fixed inside of the thermal insulation box body (1); left and right sides of the frame are fixed with an air outlet duct plate (11) and an air return duct plate (12); the closed container (4) is flat, divided into layers and erected inside of the frame; upper and lower surfaces of the closed container (4) are welded or riveted with rows of thermally conductive fins (41); one end of a passage (42) formed by a gap between two adjacent rows of thermally conductive fins (41) is aligned with an air outlet hole (111) of the air outlet duct plate (11), and the other end is aligned with an air return hole (112) of the air return duct plate (12); a bottom portion of the frame is provided with a cold and hot airflow generating device, said device comprising a forced convection fan (9), an electric heater (8), and an evaporator (7); and the evaporator (7) is electrically connected to a refrigeration unit disposed at a lower portion of the cabinet body and located outside the thermal insulation box body (1). The present thawing cabinet not only thaws at a quick speed, but also prevents food thawed by the cabinet from experiencing nutrient loss and air pollution, which better ensures the quality of the food. Also provided is a method for thawing frozen meat using the described thawing cabinet.
